It is with regret that I must anounce the closure of O'Meara's in Navan,on December 20,2008. Kevin, Myself, and all of the staff want to thank everyone for thier support and patronage.

We will be holding a public auction on January 10th, 2009 starting at 9:00 A.M. We will be liquidating our entire inventory of equipment, furniture, glassware, office equipment, sound systems, TV's, games, kitchen equipment, classic cars, tractors, tools, appliances, and so much more that its impossible to list right now. O'Meara's in Navan is a fun place to meet friends for excellent food and a great time. At O'Meara's we serve great food made from the freshest ingredients, while our featured draft beers are micro-brewed right on the premises at the Draft Horse Brewery.

About O'Meara's

O'Meara's in Navan is a unique venue quaintly located in a 120-year-old grist mill in Navan (See history). The restaurant itself is named after Navan's first postmaster Michael O'Meara who named the town after his birth place in County Meath, Ireland.

The restaurant has 115 seats for a la carte dining, a comfortable and easy going bar area and the upstairs Rec Room which has a 50-inch HD Plasma screen, fooseball and bubble hockey games, shuffleboard, darts and an
XBox 360 console. While the room is open during regular restaurant hours, it can also be booked for special gatherings and parties of up to 24 people.

For sports fans, O'Meara's boasts four Plasma screens - two 50-inch screens and two 42 inch screens - each with the latest 1080p technology and a giant 54x96 inch screen with an Epson 1080p HD projector that will blow you away. We showcase sporting events every night including the Sens pay-per-view broadcasts, UFC and boxing.

Large groups are welcome as well! Our team of event planners can help plan and host fundraisers for sports teams, end-of-year banquets, and any birthday or weddings in our 139 seat banquet hall which has a separate stand-up bar for licensed events.
